What's Next?

Baptism

Baptism is the outward display of an inward decision. We practice baptism of confessing believers through full immersion. It is the symbol of living out your obedience to Jesus, and should be a next step for all believers. For those who want to be baptized and have sensory issues, we are happy to host a family and friends baptism. 

Child Dedication

We celebrate a family's decision to raise their child according to God's Word with the support of the Church. Child dedication is not the same as baptism, but rather a blessing from the pastor and a promise to walk alongside the mom, dad, and grandparents in the beautiful journey called "parenting". 

Pathway to Belong

Our Partnership Class is  the first step to belonging to Awake and is a gathering to start the conversation about the goals, beliefs, and mission of Awake Church. See one of the Pastors for when the next class is offered.

Serving in Love

One of the best places to find connection at a church, and growth as a disciple of Jesus,  is through serving. There are short-term opportunities to get involved, but also some requiring on-going training. The important thing is to find a place that fits your spiritual and natural skills and serve with love!

Awake Groups

We encourage everyone to gather in smaller groups beyond Sundays. Groups consist of people who are committed to making a difference for Jesus. We launch groups twice a year, but most accept new friends anytime.
